Herbal Remedies for Skin CareSkin is the largest and one of the most persuasive organs of the body, accounting for 16 percent of body weight. Skin is continually repairing and exhilarating itself. The Skin is constituted of cells, sweat pores, and sebaceous glands. The surface layer of the skin is covered with a thin lamina of dead cells. These are unremitting being pushed up to the surface from below. If the dead cells are not removed, they may devaluate and even block the skin's attempt to breathe and eliminate waste. It is true that face, more than any other, requires care and attention. The face is allegiantly exposed to the elements, even in severe winter when the rest of the body is well wrapped. Thus, the face is one of the first parts of the body to show signs of aging. When you are juvenile, the main skin complaints are greasy skin and acne. But as you grow older, the skin gets dry and the defiance is to countervail the dryness of the skin. Though, you can have beautiful skin no matter what your age, race or color. The secret is to savvy how your skin functions, and to take care of it properly. Skin is composed up of two layers that cover a third fatty layer. The outer layer is called the epidermis. Skin has a bit acidic coating of oil at the surface. Below the surface is a labyrinthine of sweat and oil glands, hair follicles, blood vessels, nerves, and muscle tissue. These are held together by a compact connective tissue called collagen. Collagen is very important in estimating the health of the skin. The relative health of the collagen deduces the contour of the skin, how wrinkled and lined it is. Healthy collagen is usually called soluble collagen, as it can absorb and hold moisture. The major skin complications most people face are wrinkling (because of age), and blemishes, or acne. Aging of the skin starts when collagen becomes hard and gets meshed with neighbouring collagen fibers. This prevents the collagen from holding water and zaftigging up. Instead, it rimples on itself, binds with other collagen fibers, and forms a kind of fishnet below the surface of the skin, which is manifested as wrinkles. Herbal Remedies for Skin Care1.
