Powder Brush - How to Apply Makeup Powder & Brush

Face Powders are an essential step in your makeup routine. Powder does 2 things to your make-up. Firstly it sets your makeup perfectly, giving a smooth even finish to your complexion. Secondly, it helps to prevent the appearance of shine on the areas most prone to oiliness-the central panel. Powder gives a finished, shine free look to make up

The more generous the head, the morethe powder will be diffused, so this is one case where big is beautiful. Great for applying bronzer, as it gives even coverage all over the face, this tool should not be substituted for a blusher brush, as for that you need a thinner, more angled head to get a clean result. Apply your powder in downward strokes so as not to lift the fine hairs on your face. Under certain light, these hairs will be obvious if lifted.

How to Apply Powder

Loose powder:

    • Apply powder only after you have completed the application of foundation and concealer.
    • Take a clean tissue, wipe your brush on it and then use it to remove excess powder from your face.
    • Dip your powder brush into the powder. Shake off the excess powder.
    • Brush it on face in the upward direction

Pressed powder:

  • Apply pressed powder on your face using sponge.
  • Dab a small amount of powder on a cosmetic puff and apply it to shiny areas or places when your makeup has become thin.
  • Remove extra powder from your face.
