What is Bullous Pemphigoid ?

The condition in BP is caused by antibodies and inflammation abnormally agglomerating in a certain layer of the skin called the "basement membrane."   • Polysporin or some other antibacterial ointment
  • Strong corticosteroid creams such as Temovate
  • Blood tests are usually inconclusive.
  • Tetracycline and Minocycline antibiotics are very useful for mild to moderate disease
